Does anyone out there remember Lamar Courts on North Main Street in Paris, Texas? It was located near the present location of the old 271 Drive In Theater and operated during the 40’s. My father, J.B. Harvill, owned it, and my uncle, Riley Mack Harvill, and his family ran it. I am particularly searching for any existing photos of the Lamar Courts. :ohh:

Hello Daisy.  I’ve got a project going and Skipper had directed me to the archives and I was looking it over and found this post from you.  About five years ago I had some correspondence with a lady whose husband had trained at Camp Maxey with the 102nd ID.  Turns out she lived at Lamar Courts while he was in training.  She sent me several copies of pictures and some of them were taken at the Courts.  I believe that now she has passed away but I can make some scans of the pictures she sent to me and forward them on to you in jpg.  My personal email is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)  Regards, David Steely
